The availability, affordability, and sustainability of child care directly impact families, businesses, and our local economy. Without immediate and collaborative action, the workforce pipeline and economic mobility of thousands of families are at risk.

 As partners in early childhood education, we know the solution requires collaboration across business, government, and community sectors. Employers and community leaders have a pivotal role to play—because child care isn’t just a family issue, it’s a workforce imperative. 

This program is Part 2 following our initial Take Care screening earlier this year—this session is designed with a sharper focus on business and industry, highlighting child care as a critical workforce issue.

 What to Expect This powerful program, presented in partnership with the Guilford County Partnership for Children, the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce, and United Way of Greater Greensboro, will include:

 Film Screening of Take Care – a moving look at the challenges and opportunities in child care.

 Solutions Lab – a collaborative session with experts to showcase practical, employer-driven strategies that strengthen child care systems while benefiting businesses and employees. 

Networking & Partnerships – connect with local leaders who share a commitment to building a sustainable child care infrastructure. Who Should Attend Employers, community partners, and leaders who recognize that investing in child care is investing in our workforce and our future.
