New Garden Friends School (NGFS) is the Triad’s only independent Preschool–12th grade Quaker school, serving students on two campuses in Greensboro, North Carolina. Guided by Quaker values of community, integrity, equality, stewardship, peace, and simplicity, NGFS provides a challenging, student-centered education that nurtures each child’s unique gifts. Through hands-on learning, service, outdoor education, and strong relationships, students are encouraged to think critically, lead with compassion, and grow into confident, engaged members of their communities. Founded in 1971, NGFS is committed to inclusion, belonging, and helping every student explore, grow, and thrive.
