Description

What's Next, Greensboro? A Dialogue Experience

A Greensboro Newsmakers Community Forum

Wednesday, September 23 | 5:00 pm

GCS Community Education Center

What’s next for Greensboro, and how do we shape it together?

Join Action Greensboro, The Thread, Elon University’s Kernodle Center for Civic Life, NC Campus Engagement, and Guilford County Schools for an interactive community conversation about where Greensboro is today, where we want to go, and how we can work together to shape our community’s future.

The evening will use a deliberative dialogue process adapted from What’s Next, America?, a nationwide initiative from the National Issues Forums Institute that helps communities talk together, consider different perspectives, identify shared priorities, and turn conversation into action.

But this conversation is all about Greensboro. Instead of a traditional panel, you’ll join a small table of neighbors for a facilitated discussion about our community’s strengths, challenges, opportunities, and hopes for the future. You don’t need to be an expert or arrive with the answers. Just come ready to listen, share your perspective, and think alongside people you may not normally meet.

Dinner is included, and the event is free. Space is limited to 100 participants. Registration required.
