Nominate an outstanding small business for one of our Small Business Awards. Winners will be selected from a competitive pool of nominees who met the following criteria:

Own or operate a small business as defined by having fewer than 100 employees; have an established and viable business; show growth in employees and/or sales volume; respond to adversity; and are involved in community service.

Community Contributor Award: This recognition pays tribute to an organization or individual that makes a big difference in the lives of our local small business community, contributing to their success as an advocate, champion and tangible resource. 

Pivot Pro Award: We understand that the hallmark of owning a successful small business is flexibility. Whether it's adapting to an ongoing pandemic, or the changing landscape of your industry. This company or individual thrives in the uncertainty. 

Culture Creator Award: Creating a company culture is not just for large corporations. The recipient of the Culture Creator award is a small business that is intentional in creating and demonstrating a culture of inclusivity and equity. They continually invest in the development and wellbeing of their employees.

Small Business of the Year: The winning company exemplifies both business and civic leadership. Community involvement, management practices, and overall financial performance are the primary criteria for this category. 

We also are partnering with ArtsGreensboro to present the Arts in Business Award: This award honor businesses in the community for their leadership, commitment, and vision for providing exemplary support for artists and arts organizations, enabling them to thrive and succeed.
